Rose and Laura met by accident, on a Critical Mass bike ride in August 2011, one month after Rose moved to Cleveland. That chance meeting turned into a decade+ of deep conversations, belly laughs, cookie baking marathons, trapeze lessons, travel, and other epic adventures.

Dave is a loving husband and proud father of three girls. But when Dave’s wife Carrie first stole his heart, Hans came along. Hans and Laura’s first trip as a couple was to NYC to visit Dave, Carrie, and their first born Daphne, who was of course named by Hans. Now they are back in Ohio and the dream of multi-family cohabitation remains alive. Hans and Dave’s friendship spans decades and is proof that family is not always defined by bloodlines or contracts.
