Is there parking for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

There is no parking at Sunstone Villa. There are shuttles to and from the wedding, picking up at the Corque hotel and the Hadsten hotel in Solvang and the Santa Ynez Valley Christian Academy down the road from the venue. Please see the schedule link in menu bar for parking details.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black tie optional. We can't wait to dance the night away under the stars in wine country with our favorite people, so wear or bring those dancing shoes!

Are kids welcome?

We love children, but this is a wedding away from the kiddos, to be enjoyed by adults only. We appreciate your understanding.

If I need to bring my kiddo(s), where can I find a trusted babysitter in the area for the wedding events?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking at the Inn at Mattei's Tavern and the surrounding streets.

Lyft or Uber rideshare options?

Answer

We do NOT recommend relying on Lyft or Uber in Santa Ynez valley. The service is spotty, and there are few, if any, drivers in the area. Please plan accordingly.

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

The entire wedding - ceremony, cocktail hour and reception - are all outdoors. While we expect the afternoon to be warm, it cools off once the sun goes down so we suggest bringing a light jacket or pashmina. What kind of shoes do you suggest?

Answer

As it's an outdoor wedding, consider shoes comfortable for strolling through a vineyard and suitable for a reception held on grass.

Will there be plant based meal options?

Answer

Yes! The bride is plant based, so there will be plenty of options, as well as a delicious plant based Impossible Lasagna to choose for the main course.
