We love visiting this 658,000 sqft art museum, consistently listed in the top six in America! Be sure to visit Eleanor's favorite pieces, renaissance sculptures, and David's favorite, European modern art (specifically impressionism).

Detroit Institute of Arts

A beautiful park in the heart of downtown Detroit! Go skating, visit the Detroit riverwalk, or stroll down Woodward Avenue.

No visit to Detroit would be complete without trying a coney island: a hot dog topped with chili, mustard, and onions. Our personal favorite spot is Lafayette, but you be the judge!
