Big Sur Campground and Cabins

PLEASE READ FOR LODGING OR WE CANNOT ACCOMMODATE YOU! Reserving your room: We have a block of cabins and tent sites reserved. Please RSVP as soon as possible so that can place you (and family) in the correct size cabin. Every cabin includes bedding on the beds, and a mini-fridge or full kitchen. Some cabins have a bathroom+shower, but the campsite also has public bathrooms+showers, and public laundry. Prices range from $250-500 a night, and two nights are required by the campsite to receive our group rate discount (these prices vary by number of beds). Please let us know ASAP if you cannot stay both Saturday and Sunday nights. Though this is a campground, the cabins are equivalent to a hotel room. There are heaters, hot water, fresh towels, full linens, electric outlets, and in the kitchens, cookware sets. For tent-campers, NOTHING is included. Tent sites are about $100-125 per night. Tent campers must bring all of their own tenting equipment. The site includes a fire pit and a picnic table. These numbers are estimates, as we will receive a 10% discount and a group rate. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEIR WEBSITE. Booking through the website means limited options, and you will not receive the 10% discount and group rate. You can check the website to view the rooms and sites, and get a rough idea for the pricing. Please contact Hailie for specific pricing questions. If you cannot stay both nights, we may not be able to reserve a cabin in our block, but you may be able to book a hotel in the area or a cabin at the site on your own. We are not able to arrange this, and our discounts do not extend to these accommodations. Payment: Two nights are required (Saturday and Sunday) for those staying at the campsite, and recommended for all guests. Half of the payment is required immediately to confirm your hold, the rest is due at the time of check-in. The Process: 1. After RSVPing, please contact either Hailie or Brandon if you would like to be housed at the campsite, and whether you prefer a tent or cabin. Please note: there are hotels in Big Sur, Carmel, and Monterey. Pricing can be comparable, but most stays cost more, so please book your stay in advance as they will fill up and prices may increase. Please let us know if you are choosing this option. 2. After RSVPs are collected, Hailie or Brandon will contact you and let you know the campsite and final price. 3. Contact the campsite at 831-667-2322. Let them know you are booking as part of the Gruenewald/Chism wedding party, your name, and your campsite. At this time, please put down your deposit. About the Campground: THERE IS NO CELL SERVICE. NONE AT ALL!!! You can drive down the road and might get a few bars, but within the site, there is absolutely no reception. Wifi is available, but it’s reach is limited to a picnic area near the campground entrance. Wifi WILL NOT reach your tent site or cabin. There is a river and a swimming hole, so bring your swim suits! The campsite also includes free inner tubes for guests, but feel free to bring your own as well! (Saturday will have opportunities for swimming, not Sunday). For those with small children, please keep a close eye on them at all times. Though the river will be low, accidents happen, and we want to make sure everyone is being safe! The reception is held next to the river. There is a 10ft drop off from the bank to the river. Tables will be set away from the edge, but children, dogs, and drunks will need to be kept clear of the edge.
