Downtown Alpharetta
This is a cool spot for great food and drinks. So many options! the Roaring Social for a uniue drink, Central City Tavern for great food and beer, Jekyll Brewery for good music and beer, Smokejack Pit BBQ for some delicious southern food, and SALT for casually fancy restaurant with awesome food options, or Maple Street Biscuit Company for a yummy brunch.
Fairway Social
This is a super cool spot that has so many different activities to do! From their website: "Fairway Social includes a multitude of things to do. Yonah Mountain
If you are an outdoorsy person who can't just chill out for one weekend, Yonah mountain is about an hour north of Alpharetta and it a tough but rewarding hike!
Shoot the Hooch
If you haven't been to the south in the summer then you are in for a (sweaty) treat. If you love soaking up the sun, drinking beers, and floating on a river, you should drive down to Roswell and Shoot the Hooch! It is a great time, just don't forget to wear sunscreen!
Halcyon
New development that is a great spot to walk around to eat, drink and shop! Cool Brewery and a killer dine in movie theater. There is a beautiful green spot in the middle of the complex that is relaxing to rest in during a summer day.
