Yay! You made it! Thank you for visiting our wedding website. Take a gander around to find anything you might want to know about our celebration.
Well… you won’t be shocked to hear that I was the first one to hit on Jonathon. I saw him (a shaggy haired, tatted up, 6’5” tall glass of water) and I couldn’t help but to walk up to him and introduce myself. To be honest, he was quite standoffish when we first met, but I just kept making jokes and eventually asked him to two step with me. Yes, we were at a small town country bar. No, he was not aware that I am a grade A dancing queen, but he figured it out quickly. That night, my 5+ year of Cotillion dancing was put to the test as I taught Jon how we do it down in Georgia! And I guess he was impressed, because here we are! So thank you Mom for forcing me to go to Cotillion all those years. I might not have learned how to be the most lady like, but I learned some great dance moves that secured me a husband!
It's not much different than Hagan's interpretation. There I was in Guitars and Cadillacs, looking for more beer and tequila than I was for the woman of my dreams, but Hagan had other plans for us that night. Yes, I was blown away when she started to teach me how to two-step, but even more so when I learned how incredibly unique this human was. She was making me laugh, teaching me about astronomy, and not afraid to dive into the deepest talks I had ever had. I was hooked, and still am.
You are right! Jonathon and I eloped but we always planned on doing a big celebration with our friends and family. And now the time has finally come! We are so excited to get to throw a party to get all of our favorite people together in one place. We have had the joy of making friends that live all across the country because of the military, so we are pumped to get to be a part of an event that brings everyone together! So, go ahead and start shopping for that perfect outfit. I would also recommend to start hydrating now... Can't wait to see y'all!
