Erika and Jordan have spotted sea turtles, sting rays, schools of fish, leopard sharks, shovel-nose fish, guitar fish, garibaldi, octopuses, shark eggs, and more while snorkeling through the kelp forests at La Jolla Cove! Multiple companies offer guided snorkeling tours and have gear available to rent. Also at La Jolla Cove is the opportunity to go Sea Cave Kayaking, subject to tides. *Due to the high volume of sting rays we've personally seen here, we do NOT recommend swimming or wading at La Jolla Beach.
Our venue, Mission Trails Regional Park has 63 miles of hiking trails including 11 Easy Trails, 25 Intermediate Trails, and 1 Difficult Trail. There is little to no shade so bring your sunscreen and some water!
