Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

As soon as possible please!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The ceremony+reception are cocktail attire (and remember to put on your dancing shoes!). Welcome drinks and Sunday brunch are casual.

Question

What are the COVID-19 testing & safety protocols?

Answer

We are also asking all people who attend our wedding in-person (including vendors) to take a COVID test the week of our wedding or on-site at the wedding. We will be providing rapid tests in welcome bags for everyone staying at the wedding hotel and will also have some available at wedding events. If for some reason taking a COVID test is not an option for you, please let us know. People who have been vaccinated (and boosted) will also be asked to take a test.

Question

I have a food allergy or other accommodation need, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes - please note it in your RSVP or email sarahandmitch2022@gmail.com.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Details to come.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is limited parking available at the wedding venue. However, we strongly suggest taking the shuttle to/from the hotel so that you can celebrate without worrying!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We would absolutely love to celebrate with your kids, but unfortunately we are only able to accommodate children in the wedding party at our reception.

Question

Is there parking at the hotel?

Answer

In general we recommend taking Uber/Lyft or public transit to avoid having to find/pay for parking in the Oakland city center. Parking is available at the hotel for $50/day valet or $45/day self-park. There are also metered spots in the surrounding area, but finding a spot may be difficult in the city center. Meters may be off for the New Year's holiday but if they are not, you'll need to regularly re-feed the meter.
