Mother of the Bride
The bride's mother and very best friend. She is a guiding light and sense of comfort and peace to many. There is so much of the bride in her mother; poise, compassion, and grace. She is a wonderful grandmother to the bride's furbaby Ali. The bride has cherished every moment in this life having a mother this wonderful by her side. The brides favorite things to do with her mom are browsing the isles at Home Goods and watching Say Yes to the Dress.
Mother of the Groom
Greg’s mother is so much a part of what makes him who he is today. Passion, creativity, wanderlust and adventure are things that Marilyn has instilled in her son. They share a love for the arts and enjoy a good Broadway show. She has always been there for Greg with a mother’s love and compassion, but they do both enjoy a passionate current events conversation! Or at least Greg thinks they do......
Father of the Bride
The greatest father a bride could ever wish for. He is a Vietnam Veteran and retired Physician Assistant. He has been a protector and inspiration for the bride. The bride's favorite memories with her father are trips to Disney World, sitting around a campfire, and going to the movies. The bride graduated from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education in 2016, the same program her father graduated from in the 1970s. This made her the program's one and only legacy student in its history.
Father of the Groom
The best dad a guy could ever ask for! .......And where Greg gets his famous 1-liner “let me tell one more thing”. Greg’s dad is a man with a huge heart and raised him on hard work, good morals, and good ethics. He’s half of what makes Greg the great man he is today.
Bridesmaid
The bride's niece and very favorite accomplice. Amanda is the little sister the bride always wanted and the best friend she always needed. Her best moments with Amanda are dressing up like zombies on halloween, making macaroni and cheese at 2 AM, driving backwards on a highway (inquire for details), and forcing Amanda to watch horror movies. Most of all they just enjoy doing absolutely nothing in each other's company.
Groomsman
A groomsman in Jose’s wedding in 2019, Greg and Jose clicked immediately when they first met back in 2018 and they will soon be related! In fact, it turns out they have mutual friends from their High School days. From weekend getaways to family events, these two have been taken under the bride’s father’s wings and look forward to being patriarchs in the family themselves.
Bridesmaid
One of the bride's closest friends. They met when they were 6 years old and have been next door neighbors almost their whole lives. They have always supported each other through life, with the bride turning to Christina often for advice. The bride's favorite memory with Christina is standing outside of TRL studios in 1999 to catch a glimpse of the Backstreet Boys. She is an amazing mother to two beautiful children. Also recently engaged, Christina is soon to become a Bonilla herself!
Groomsman
Isaam and Greg are childhood best friends from south Brooklyn. Isaam is one of 4 brothers and growing up inseparable from all 4, Greg was like the 5th in the pack. From neighborhood best friends to attending UAlbany together, they cherish and share many memories and have seen one another grow up.
Bridesmaid
The bride's childhood friend who she met on her first day of kindergarten. Ashley has been the voice of reason the bride always needed. The bride's fondest memories with Ashley include sleepovers as a teenager, making pina coladas (as adults of course), trips to the Poconos, and watching True Blood. She is more fondly known to the bride as "Dudie."
Man of Honor
Morgan is Greg’s older brother-in-law who always has his back! They’ve been through it all together, from that melee on the Bowery some years back to Greg being a groomsman in Morgan’s wedding when he married Natalie. The brothers-in-law can take on anything and they’re looking forward to the memories they’ve yet to make and the sneakers they’ve yet to acquire!
Maid of Honor
The bride's very best friend since September 11th, 1991; Marlene's 5th birthday. They met on their first day of kindergarten. They have been inseparable since. Monique is a light bringer and a source of guidance and comfort for the bride. They are both proud introverts and even prouder Virgos. Moni-k as the bride calls her, has always been the MVP.
Best Man
Abraham and Greg go wayyyyy back......to those awkward Middle School days. They also attended High School together and remained best friends to this day. Abraham has always been a dear friend and an inspiration in Greg’s life. If you want to hear some wild stories, Abraham’s got a plethora.
Sister of the Bride
The bride never had a little sister, but she's definitely got a smaller one. Irene is small in stature but has a colossal personality and a radiant smile. The bride has always been grateful for the love from her sister and the years of solid dating advice. The bride's most favorite memory with her sister is playing hot peas and butter when they were younger.
Sister of the Groom
Who would the groom be without the constant love, guidance, and support from his sister. She has always been there to deliver great advice and is not afraid to let him know when she disapproves. Luckily for him, she loves Marlene! In 2019, Natalie became a mother to the groom’s beautiful niece Aurora, who is also a flower girl in the wedding. Watching his sister grow into a mother and seeing the joy it brings her, warms Greg’s heart.
Honorary Groomsman
If you haven’t met Luis, get ready, because he is the life of the party! Luis is kind, sweet, and has an incredible sense of humor. He loves his younger sister and has grown quite fond of his soon-to-be brother-in-law, whom he likes to call Gary!
Brother of the Bride
The bride's oldest brother. He is currently living a nice quiet life in Florida. He's mostly silent and sometimes serious, but the bride knows all about his warm and loving interior. He loves the bride's dog Ali and looks forward to his facetime sessions with her. He's always been a protective and loving older brother.
Flower Girl
Niece of the groom and daughter of Natalie and Morgan. She loves playing with her toys, listening to baby shark, and watching Disney movies. Aurora loves her uncle Bobby (the best way she knows how to say Greg). She's the spunkiest one year old that has ever lived.
Flower Girl
Daughter of bridesmaid Ashley, Naomi likes to wear cool shades and dance in her pajamas. She loves Peppa Pig. She's smart, feisty, silly and can battle anyone on the dance floor. The bride considers Naomi as her own niece and loves her deeply.
Bride
The bride is a happily anxious young woman doing her best to navigate life. She is a self proclaimed introvert and empath. She believes herself to be somewhat of a psychic, but she never saw this coming. She is a lover of all things halloween, Disney and her 6 year old Dorkie Ali. Marlene is a supporter of all human rights. She is a Physician Assistant working in addiction medicine and believes in fighting health stigmas. She believes in compassion and generosity. There is only thing she absolutely adores above all else and that is her future husband and dreamboat, Greg. The bride will also be turning 35 on September 11th!
Groom
The groom is a dashingly handsome young man born and raised in Brooklyn. He is an advanced technology nerd and has been working remotely for almost 1 year now. He is intelligent, charming and incredibly well traveled. He's a bit of a modern day philosopher and is best known for his ability to entrance you in one of his existential mind warps. He is a certified party animal with a special skill in midday disco naps. The groom has the kindest and most gentle and loving spirit. He is a wonderful son and brother, and is overjoyed to be an uncle to his niece Aurora. The groom enjoys the finer things in life like a nice glass of wine and cuddling with his dog Ali.
