FAQ

If you require accommodations, please let us know so we can work with Spillian to accommodate you! While the distance from the manor to the ceremony is short, there is a gradual slope. The path is mulched and very walkable, but motorized golf carts are available. For last minute questions, call or text Greg at 908.797.5798 or Nat at 717.892.9619.
Question

How to get to the Wedding?

Answer

Cell phone service in the Catskills is very limited and many of the roads are winding and poorly lit. After a night of celebrating, we want to ensure you make it home safely, so we have arranged to have a local shuttle service pick you up and drop you off at your place of lodging. Please make sure to add the address of your lodging when you RSVP so we can arrange transportation for you. Furthermore, due to the EXTREMELY LIMITED number of parking spots at the venue, we STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to take advantage the shuttle service as it will be the easiest way to get to the venue. If you require onsite parking, you MUST get a voucher from Greg or Nat. Please reach out to us so we can coordinate with Spillian.

Question

Will the Ceremony/Reception be Inside or Outside?

Answer

Weather depending, our celebration is going to be largely outside. June in the Catskills is beautiful - usually in the mid to high 70s during the day, with the temperatures dropping down into the 50s and 60s at night. And while you're encouraged to warm up by dancing the night away beside the fire, it's advisable to bring an extra layer for when the sun goes down!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail/summer dresses. While the grounds at Spillian are highly manicured, we will be in the woods, and as such it's not completely flat or paved. We would advise against pointed heels, but a block heel, wedge, or flat would be perfectly suitable. A second pair of shoes/sneakers for the reception would also be a fine compromise! Summer evenings in the Catskills can be chilly so plan accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, because the intimate nature of the venue, the guest list is set. Your invitation will be addressed to those we have counted on coming. We kindly request you refrain from bringing a plus one.

Question

Are Children Invited?

Answer

Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to limited seating. We hope you are able to join us anyway and enjoy a relaxed evening with friends and family!

Question

I have a dietary restriction. Will there be options for me?

Answer

Of course, but you need to let us know! We're already planning on having vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options served buffet style, but we will work with Spillian to cater to any specific restrictions you may have. Please reach out to Nat or Greg directly to make sure we account for your needs!

Question

Can I take any photos?

Answer

Please no photos or video at any time during the ceremony. Our talented photographer will be taking photos for us, and we'd love for you to experience the moment with us. After the ceremony, feel free to capture the night however you see fit.
