Stroll along the Hillsborough River, and stop for coffee, a snack or a meal at Armature Works. Or laze around a waterfront park or hop a water taxi to another point of interest.
Ybor City Historic District
The heart of old Tampa, cradle of a once-booming cigar industry and still the home of the historic Columbia restaurant.
Hyde Park Village
Eat (tacos, burgers, ice pops) , shop (Kendra Scott, Madewell, Lululemon and local boutiques), see a movie at the CineBistro, sip coffee from the local Buddy Brew.
Sparkman Wharf
Stroll on the waterfront next to the Tampa port, buy gourmet-on-the-go from food purveyors that sell from revamped shipping containers. We highly recommend getting a scoop sampler at Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams. Also, visit the nearby aquarium and walk down nearby Water Street. And don't forget to check out the Greenwise market to bring back snacks for your stay.
