It's at the Rusty Pelican on Rocky Point in Tampa. Rocky Point is about 15 minutes from downtown Tampa and 10 minutes from the airport. The island, on both sides of a major highway, is home to businesses, hotels and residential buildings along the shore of Tampa Bay.
It's a restaurant and special events venue right on Tampa Bay. You'll love the views. You might have heard of the Miami location on Biscayne Bay, where several members of our family have celebrated milestones. In Tampa, our ceremony will be outside, on the water's edge, as the sun starts to set. The celebration will continue inside.
4:30 p.m.-5 p.m.: Outdoor wedding ceremony by the bay. 5 p.m.-6 p.m.: Cocktail reception in the Coral Room. 6 p.m.-10 p.m.: Dinner and dancing in the Grand Ballroom.
Come dressed for a formal party. Wear your favorite dress or pantsuit or jacket. Keep in mind that Florida in the winter could mean temperatures ranging from 40 to 80 degrees, so keep an eye on the weather forecast and pack accordingly.
Just indicate any needs on the invitation response and we will try our best to accommodate.
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay. It is a 5 minute drive from both the airport and our venue. The booking link is https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/group-booking/TPARW/G-K8HW But other accommodations are in the area, too. The closest hotel to the wedding venue is a few steps away. The Current, a Marriott hotel, is on Tampa's Rocky Point, next door to the Rusty Pelican. Several other hotels with various price points are a short ride away on and off the island, including in downtown Tampa. The nearby hotels include: Holiday Inn Express and Suites Tampa Airport, and Airbnb options. More information is under the Travel tab.
