Humpback Rocks
Looking for a fun hike with beautiful views from the top? This is it! (See our picture above - even Dixie made it up!) Humpback is steep, but relatively short - less than two hours up and back.
King Family Vineyards
We went here shortly after we started dating. It's one of many beautiful vineyards in the area. Others we'd recommend include Pippin Hill, Jefferson Vineyards (not far from the downtown area), and Veritas Vineyards.
University of Virginia
Walking around UVA's beautiful grounds is a great way to spend the day! Spend some time on The Lawn, then make your way over to The Corner, the area of shops and restaurants along University Ave. This is where Greer's shop, Duo, was located! We love Take It Away Sandwich Shop for a quick, casual lunch.
Downtown Mall
Peruse stores, coffee shops, and restaurants along this outdoor pedestrian mall, which is the heart of Charlottesville.
