Things To Do

We've looked up some of the most recommonded places to spend time near olympia.

The Olympia Farmers Market

700 Capitol Way North, Olympia, WA 98501
, (360) 352-9096

Close to the hotel, we have heard great things about the farmers market! It is open 10am - 3pm on Thursday - Sunday and has farm vendors, artisan foods, and craft vendors and many restaurants nearby.

Olympic National Park

3002 Mt Angeles Rd, Port Angeles, WA 98362
, (360) 565-3130

If you are making this into a vacation and will be in town for a few days, we highly recommend one of the national parks Washington has to offer. The Olympic National Park is about 1.5 hours away from the hotel and has many trails and hikes for all levels. I recommend clicking on the link and exploring their website prior to heading out.

Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge

100 Brown Farm Road Northeast, Olympia, WA 98516
, (360) 753-9467

Only located 20 minutes from the airport, this is a great place to go if you want some nature but don't have time to explore of the national parks.

Olympic Flight Museum

7637 Old Highway 99 Southeast, Tumwater, WA 98501
, (360) 705-3925

Priest Point Park

2600 East Bay Drive Northeast, Olympia, WA 98506
, (360) 753-8380

Less than 2 miles from the hotel, this park is a great place to walk through gorgeous tress and greenery or by the water.

Tolmie State Park

7730 61st Avenue Northeast, Olympia, WA 98506
, (360) 456-6464

More parks... Tolmie State Parks has more than 3 miles of hiking and access to a beach. Strongly recommend checking this place out if you like getting your feet wet (I would also recommend looking into this place beforehand).

Medicine Creek Winery

947 Old Pacific Highway Southeast, Olympia, WA 98513
, (360) 701-6284

Olympia

Olympia, WA

There are so many things to do we can't list them all. So here is a website that you can explore if you find yourself in need of something to do.

Seattle

Seattle, WA

For those who are making a trip out of this and want to explore the city of Seattle as well, here is a great website that gives some ideas. Some of our favorite things in Seattle are the Aquarium, MoPOP, Pike Place Market, and Bill Speidel's Underground Tour in Pioneer Square. We are also hoping to visit Woodinville Wine Country soon (about 30 min outside Seattle), but have heard great things!

For all the days along the way
