Welcome to the island of Texas! Per the last census, Austin is bustling with just under 1 million people each day, so we wanted to provide some basic information about getting around the city with ease. Here are some of our favorite points of interest near the downtown area: Texas State Capitol building, Butler Park, Austin Central Library and Auditorium Shores. If you're lucky, you may run across a field of bluebonnets since peak season is March - April in Texas! Take a stroll around Lady Bird Lake using the well-maintained hike and bike trail, enjoying the mild Spring mornings before the Texas Summer temperatures crawl in.
