Semi-Formal
The ceremony is planned to be outdoors near the time the sun is setting. Please check the weather forecast and bring appropriate attire should it end up a cool fall evening. *In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held indoors at the same location *This is an UNPLUGGED ceremony. The use of cell phones and personal cameras are not permitted. Respectfully, we have been to a few weddings where friends and family of the couple have obstructed the hired photographers from capturing that perfect shot or moment. Don't worry, we will share the photos with everyone afterwards!
Reception

Feel free to shed the jacket for the men or the shoes for the ladies, as we turn up the music and hit the dance floor
As the bridal parties and family of the bride and groom take some final photos, there will be a cocktail hour on the porch and the front room of the Carl House. Hand-passed hors d'oeuvres will be served and the bars will open for business. After the cocktail hour, everyone will enter the reception area for some dinner and dancing. The menu will feature a number of "action stations"! We want everyone to celebrate together and envision an up-beat and lively atmosphere. Keep your eyes peeled as the night lingers on, as there may or may not be some dessert fun in addition to the wedding cakes!
