We have decided to keep all of the events throughout our wedding weekend adults-only events.
Weather permitted, the majority of our wedding (aside from the wedding dinner) will be outdoors. Should the weather not cooperate, we have a backup plan in which the wedding will be indoors and we will be sure to communicate this as needed.
Transportation will be provided to and from the hotels in our hotel block for each of the events throughout our wedding weekend. If you are staying in a villa or hotel outside of our hotel block, you will be responsible for your own transportation. If you staying in a hotel within Cortona city center, we advise you to walk to the hotels in our block to utilize the provided transportation. If you are staying in a villa further away, we recommend that you rent a car and be prepared to drive to and from each of the events.
A passport is required to enter Italy and it must be valid (meaning it cannot expire) for at least 6 months after your date of arrival. Therefore, if your passport is set to expire anytime before December 2024, you will not be able to enter Italy. We recommend renewing as far in advance as possible.
We recommend using a taxi (unless your hotel is within walking distance). Please defer to our 'travel' tab for information on how to book a taxi in Cortona.
We would highly encourage you to stay at a hotel in or near our hotel block to ensure transportation to and from the planned events. There are minimal taxis in Cortona, so it may be very difficult to get transportation to and from your Airbnb, particularly late at night. Should you choose to stay at an Airbnb, we highly recommend renting a car so that you can drive to and from the wedding events.
If you do not want to stay at a hotel in our hotel block, there are several other hotels in Cortona that are walking distance from the ones we have reserved. If you choose, it would be easy to head to one of our reserved hotels and utilize our planned transportation even if you are not staying at that hotel.
Yes, there is plenty of parking at our venue if you choose to drive to any of the events
