In 1803, this was the site of the Louisiana Purchase transfer. The museum will be open to guests starting at 3:00 PM (free of charge) prior to the wedding ceremony. Feel free to come early and check out some of the exhibits! The Cabildo is located to the left of the St. Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square.
5:00 pm - 5:30 pm
The second line parade signifies the beginning of a new life together. The grand marshal and second line band lead the bride, groom, and wedding guests from the ceremony to the reception with a police escort. The newlyweds lead the procession, umbrellas in hand, while the wedding guests follow with handkerchiefs. Wear comfortable shoes and get ready to dance in the street!

Brief history of the building: 1726 - Built as a private residence 1886 - Bertha Angaud and Emma Camors opened up “The Shop of the Two Sisters” where they sold Mardi Gras ball gowns and served tea & cakes in the courtyard 1963 - The Fein Family opened up “The Court of Two Sisters” as a restaurant
