Cyril E. King Airport - St. Thomas (STT)

The only airport in St. Thomas is Cyril E. King Airport - St. Thomas (STT), which is about 30 minutes from the Ritz-Carlton. Direct flights are available from Atlanta (ATL), Charlotte (CLT), Dallas (DFW), Miami (MIA), New York (JFK and EWR), Philadelphia (PHL), and Washington, DC (IAD). St. Thomas operates on Atlantic Standard Time (AST).

Our block, which is available starting Wednesday, January 31, 2024, and ending Monday, February 5, 2024 is only available for reservations made before our RSVP date, November 12, 2023. The Ritz-Carlton is located on the eastern side of St. Thomas on Great Bay, near the town of Red Hook. While we HIGHLY recommend staying at the Ritz, if you wish to stay elsewhere, we suggest reviewing AirBnB, VRBO, and other hotels in the vicinity of the Ritz and Red Hook (like Cowpet Bay, Anchorage, Saphhire Beach, Secret Harbor, or the Elysian). Please note, while you will have access to the Ritz-Carlton property during the wedding and reception, hotel amenities are reserved for the exclusive use of Ritz guests, per hotel policy.

Ground Transportation

Booked your flights? Unfortunately, Uber and Lyft are not available on the island, so a taxi is your best bet. Please see our FAQ section for further details on taxis and our efforts to help facilitate shared airport rides based on RSVP responses. The Ritz recommends Kelly’s Taxi for individual transportation around the island. Please contact kellystaxi@gmail.com or visit www.kellystaxi.com. Our island friend Vince and his brother, Ozzie, also operate a cab company and are reachable via call or text for your transport needs. They also take Venmo, which you'll find rare. Rental Car

Driving on St. Thomas

While cars on St. Thomas are standard American-style with steering on the left, please note they also drive on the left side of the road (and in our experience, these are poorly-paved and very winding roads). If arriving for the weekend, our recommendation is to skip the rental car and arrange transportation via the Ritz or a taxi service.
