Estes Park
This is a cute mountain town with shops and food. We go here every summer and fall! The town is right outside of Rocky Mountain National Park if you are looking for a hike. This is about a 45 minute drive from Longmont. Timed entry permits are required to enter the national park and sell out fast. Boulder
Boulder is 20 minutes from Lyons and 25 minutes from the hotel block in Longmont. If you are from out of town and looking for something to do, Boulder offers lots of hiking, good food, and shopping! We recommend checking out Pearl Street!
