We visited this cafe on a recent date. It is a beautiful location and the food is delicious! We highly recommend making a reservation in order to avoid long wait times.
This beautiful tasting room is a few minutes away from our wedding venue. Stop by to drink some wine on their gorgeous property, and enjoy some takeout from The Old Place, which is right next door!
"The best steak I have had in LA"--Hayley This restaurant has a unique setting and the food is amazing. They only have two seatings per night, so be sure to book well in advance. You can also order from their takeout window and enjoy some wine from Cornell Wine Co., right next door!
We love this casual roadside spot for their delicious fish!
The Getty is home to an extensive art collection and beautiful gardens and unparalleled views of Los Angeles. Tickets are free, but must be reserved in advance. There is a small charge for parking. Fun fact--this was one of Nick's favorite reading spots in his early days in LA!
The Getty Villa contains a collection of ancient Greek and Roman art housed in a building that is a replica of an ancient Roman Villa. Like its sister museum, The Getty, The Getty Villa is also free to visit but you do need advance reservations. There is also a small charge for parking. As a former classics major, Hayley loves the Getty Villa not only for the history, but for the serene environment and gorgeous ocean views.
We went here for one of our earliest dates and we also took our engagement photos here! This is a gorgeous spot for spotting wildlife, enjoying the wildflowers, or having a nice beach day.
Malibu Creek State Park is perfect for hiking and viewing both nature and television history (it is the former filming site of M*A*S*H). There are plenty of easy hiking trails and lots of wildflower spotting. We have camped here before and this is where we went hiking with Nick's parents the first time they met Hayley ;)
