Alicia Biel

Maid of Honor

Alicia and I have been friends for the past eight years. Our high school youth group brought us together and we became instant friends. Our friendship has survived the ups and downs of life and the distance of living in different states. I have known since high school that Alicia would be my Maid of Honor. She is my person, and I couldn't get married without her.

Molly Griffin

Matron of Honor

I have always looked up to my oldest sister, Molly. I would steal her clothes or her makeup and wear her shoes so I could be just like her. Even though I outgrew her shoes (yes, my feet are bigger than Molly's) and I got my own makeup, I will always look up to her. Our relationship has grown from sisters to friends. Molly is someone who I can confide in. When it counts, Molly has always been there for me.

Maggie Gargan

Maid of Honor

Maggie has always been my fiercest protector and my greatest advocate. When I was growing up it was like I had two moms. She was always the first to volunteer to protect me, and if anyone crossed me, they had her to deal with. Maggie showed me how to stand up for myself. She is always there when I need someone to talk to late at night or vent to someone. Our kitchen dance parties are legendary, and one of my fondest childhood memories.

Daulton Stansfield

Best Gentleman

Daulton and I have been friends since 2008. We met when my family moved from New Jersey to Wilmington and moved into Daulton's neighborhood and we've been brothers ever since. Some of my fondest memories of Wilmington include him. For example, skipping school to ride jet skis, hitting Poe's for dinner before being first in line at Red Dogs, and even standing by his side when he got married. Daulton has been there for me through the good times and bad. He has become the biggest supporter of my relationship with Gerrie, and I couldn't say "I Do" without him.

Robby Doe

Best Man

Being an only child, Robby Doe is the closest thing I have to a brother. While growing up in New Jersey, my cousin Robby lived a few houses down from me. Robby and I would hang out every day after school. Getting into trouble was very easy with my partner in crime. From school detention to getting scared by the cops or even going kayaking in the ocean with a broken foot, we have had some crazy adventures. One of my favorite memories of Robby was when he came to visit me in Wilmington. The trip was only supposed to be a long weekend, but Robby ended up staying for a month! We made some great memories during that visit and my special day with Gerrie wouldn't be complete without him.

Mark Vear

Groomsman

Mark and I are brothers for life because of the Navy. I met Mark my first night of Naval Officer Candidate School. We bonded instantly over the joyful days of OCS misery. When he wasn't lapping me on the track, Mark and I would often talk about future life plans and realized that we were pretty similar. Since then, Mark and I have leaned on each other over the years to get through any hurdles we faced.

Ryan Stanford

Groomsman

Ryan and I met at Officer Candidate School in Newport, RI. We spent 2 weeks around Christmas stand-down keeping each other sane while our days in OCS consisted of staring at the wall in between meals. During this time, Ryan and I quickly became good friends. Throughout our friendship we have shared many laughs and worked through the many obstacles that the Navy and life in general have thrown at us. I couldn't imagine getting married without him by my side.
