What documents do I need to travel to Spain? // ¿Qué documentos necesito para viajar a España?

Answer

You do NOT need a VISA if you plan to stay for less than 90 days. You will need a valid passport that doesn't expire in the next 6 months after your arrival with a blank space for the Spanish stamp. You'll also need the COVID-19 passport (read next question). And finally, before the arrival you must fill out the Health Control Form provided in the link below. A QR will be provided, which will be scanned upon your arrival. For more updated information please check: https://www.spth.gob.es. No lo necesitas si planeas estar menos de 90 días. Necesitarás un pasaporte válido que no caduque en los próximos 6 meses desde tu llegada y que tenga una página en blanco para el sello español. También necesitarás el pasaporte COVID-19. What is the COVID-19 passport? // ¿Qué es el pasaporte COVID-19?

Answer

It is a document that shows: - vaccination certificate for COVID-19* or - A negative COVID-19 test done maximum 72h before your arrival or - A document certified by a doctor that you've passed the COVID-19 disease in the last 6 months. * If it's been more than 270 days since your last dose (2nd dose), you'll need the certification of the booster vaccine or a negative COVID-19 test (done 72h max before your arrival) to be able to enter Spain. Es un documento que muestra: - Certificado de vacunación contra el COVID-19* o - Una prueba negativa del COVID-19 o - Un documento conforme hayas pasado el COVID-19 en los últimos 6 meses *Si hace más de 270 días desde la última dosis administrada, deberás obtener la 3a dosis o realizarte un test COVID-19 con resultado negativo para viajar a España.

What are the COVID-19 regulations in Barcelona? // ¿Cuales son las normas relacionadas con el COVID-19 en Barcelona?

Nowadays there are not strict measures related to COVID-19. Masks are not required to be worn on the street, however you have to wear them in public closed spaces and public transportation. Where can I park in La Cucanya? // ¿Donde puedo aparcar en La Cucanya?

Our designated parking is the PK 4. When you arrive at La Cucanya, turn left and go all straight down to a field. In case you're staying in Vilanova i la Geltrú and want to take a taxi to go back after the wedding (so you can drink all night long ;) ), you can leave the car overnight and get it on the morning. El parking designado es el PK 4. Este se encuentra en la entrada de La Cucanya, girando a la izquierda, todo recto hacia abajo. En el caso que os quedéis en Vilanova i la Geltrú y decidáis coger un taxi para la vuelta ( y así poder beber toda la noche ;) ), podéis dejar el coche durante la noche y recogerlo al día siguiente sin problema.

How can I move around Barcelona? // ¿Cómo puedo moverme por Barcelona?

Answer

You can use several types of public transportation, as Barcelona has a very good public transportation service (subway, bus and tram), one same ticket is valid to all of them. If you prefer to move by car, there is no UBER in Barcelona. However you can use either Cabify or Mytaxi app to order a taxi or you can simply rise your hand to a taxi which has a green light (meaning it is not occupied). Puedes utilizar diferentes tipos de transporte público. Como Barcelona cuenta con un sistema de transporte público muy bueno (metro, autobús y tranvía), un solo tíquet es válido para todos los transportes. Si prefieres moverte en coche, NO hay UBER en Barcelona. No obstante puedes utilizar Cabify o la app Mytaxi para solicitar un taxi o puedes simplemente levantar tu mano a cualquier taxi que haya en la calle con luz verde (pues significa está libre).

So even during September you are still guaranteed warm sunshine on most days of the week. La temperatura media es alrededor de 26ºC (78ºF), mientras que por la noche puede llegar a bajar hasta los 17ºC (62ºF). El verano en Barcelona dura desde el 22 de junio hasta el 19 de septiembre, así que lo más probable durante septiembre es que se mantengan temperaturas agradables y un tiempo soleado.

In what neighborhoods should I avoid getting the apartment / hotel? // ¿En qué barrios debería evitar coger el apartamento / hotel?

The neighborhoods that I wouldn't recommend getting the apartment or hotel are these: Los barrios que yo no recomiendo coger el apartamento o hotel son estos: - Raval - Sant Adrià - Ciutat Vella - Poble sec - Nou Barris However, you must be at all times aware of your belongings. De todas maneras, deberías en todo tiempo tener cuidado de tus pertenencias.
