Emily and Monica first met during student orientation the summer before their freshman year at University of Wisconsin - Madison. The two later realized they were in the same dorm building at Witte Hall and have been friends ever since. Monica and Emily have done a lot of travelling together including visiting Ireland, France, England, and Spain. One of the more memorable experiences was while they were trying to navigate the Paris metro system, they got randomly stopped by a police officer and had to rely on Emily's elementary level French skills to get them out of a sticky situation.

The two Emilys became friends soon after college and one phrase to describe Emily A is "cool as a cucumber." Not only is Emily A a gal with impeccable style, but she is also an up and coming MMA fighter. When she's not in the ring, the Emilys enjoy beach days and co-hosting awesome apartment parties. It was also Emily A that thought Emily D that spiders are actually not that bad and are a vital part of our ecosystem.

Shannon Ballweg

Bridesmaid

Shannon and Emily first met freshman year of high school in their Health Sciences Occupations class and have been inseparable ever since. They were in the same clubs in high school and even had the same jobs at both the elementary school and at a local BBQ restaurant. Fun fact: Shannon and Emily currently hold a snap streak of over 550 days. (For those without Snap Chat, this means they've sent a picture/message to each other at least once a day for 550 consecutive days)

Khaleilei Kidau

Bridesmaid

Khaleilei is Emily's niece, but their relationship is a little different than most in the sense that they are only seven years apart and grew up together. As bunkmates and the two who regularly had to share a seat on long car rides, Khaleilei and Emily have always been close. Leilei loves being a part of the action and often joins in on whatever Emily is getting up to. Whether it be exploring around downtown Madison, going to the fair, grocery shopping, going to church, or traveling out to New York, Emily can always count on Leilei to reliable partner in crime.

Bridesmaid

Andrea and Emily became close as roommates during their junior and senior years of college. One of their favorite things to do was watch marathons of the spooky TV series, Goosebumps, and to go out on the town on Saturday nights. Other things to note about Andrea are that she is a phenomenal cook (it's from her that Emily learned a lot of her favorite recipes, like broccoli cheese soup) and she has the most adorable cat, Rutabaga.

Coming this fall. Two brothers. In some suits. And one of them got engaged. So now they're flying from their homes. In Texas. To go the wedding in Wisconsin. And you better bet your bottom dollar that these two brothers know how to handle business
