Even though there are a number of people in our wedding party that have received the vaccine, we do not know that information for everyone attending our wedding. Because of this, we still want to encourage anyone coming to our wedding to wear a mask as much as possible. We will have back up disposable masks just in case anyone forgets their own, however there will not be enough for everyone.
If you do not have a mask on, it would be encouraged to do this. However, this is a wedding and we want everyone to get to know each other from each side of the family so we won't be insanely strict with this rule. All we ask is for you guys to use your better judgment to keep everyone as safe as possible.
Vaccines in Ohio are available to the general public as of 3/28/21. If you have decided that receiving the vaccine is something you're interested in, we encourage you to receive the second dose of the vaccine 14 days before the wedding in order to decrease the risk of exposure for everyone attending.
14 days before the wedding, it would be wonderful if everyone could vigilantly wear a mask in public, stay 6 feet away from others, and remain in your homes as much as possible. We realize that this may not be entirely possible for everyone. Even if that means not going out to dinner and doing takeout instead for 14 days, that would be incredibly appreciated.
