Welcome Party

Cocktail Casual

Get ready for an evening out in the city! We'll be indulging in drinks, food, and a bar crawl in celebration, so comfort is key! Still, remember to dress to impress. Ladies, consider wearing kitten heels rather than taller ones on this day, as there will be plenty of walking involved. Gentlemen, shorts are acceptable given Okinawa's heat, but please keep it stylish with a neat button-down shirt.

Wedding Day

Beach Formal

Opt for cottons, linens, and breezy fabrics to stay cool! Embrace vibrant summer hues and bold tropical patterns in maxi and midi dresses for that island resort feel. Ladies, consider fun wedges or heel protectors for the grassy terrain at our wedding venue. Gentlemen, pair button-downs with lively prints—Hawaiian shirts are welcome—just complement them with some slacks. And of course, don't leave behind your sunglasses!

Okinawan Weather

Lots of Sunscreen

Okinawa is incredibly hot, and the humidity only makes it worse. To stay cool, pack light fabrics, tank tops, shorts, sun hats, comfortable footwear, and ample beachwear. A lightweight rain jacket is also advisable due to the possibility of rain, but leave your jeans behind. The beaches here are often very rocky and purchasing swimming shoes locally is an option in case you don't own any. Sunscreen is absolutely essential, but there's no need to overpack it as Japanese sunscreen is available for purchase during your visit.
