Charleston Airport is a 40 minute drive to Kiawah Island. It is easy to order an Uber to Kiawah from the airport, however, cabs from Kiawah back to Charleston are scarce. We recommend renting a car and bikes for flexibility or carpooling with other guests. Charleston is one of the great cities of the United States and worth exploring if you can extend your trip by a few days. There are two hotel options on and around Kiawah: The Andell Inn, which is a Marriott property two minutes off of the island in a little shopping center called Freshfields and The Sanctuary is a five-star resort that can be booked with Indagare amenities (email elise@indagare.com). The most cost-effective choice is to rent a house and we have listed a range of options below for your perusal.

The airport offers rental car options as well as Ubers. It's about a 45 minutes drive to Kiawah Island.
