Will there be camping?

Answer

Yes, this venue includes campsites and we invite whoever wants to stay and camp to do so. There is also camping allowed in the parking lot. There is water available at the grounds, tables, firepits, and pit toilets. Please note the average low at this time is 38 F so please bring warm clothes.

How's Parking?

Answer

​TOP has two parking areas. The lower parking lot near the meadow area fits about 20 cars. The upper parking lot at the campground/pavilion fits about 4, with room for about 6 more along the circular road to the left. Overflow parking is available along the driveway/road that leads into TOP from County Road 5.

Is altitude sickness a risk?

Answer

YES! Please be aware of altitude sickness. It is recommended to fly into Denver or lower elevation area to acclimate for a day. We will be at 8,650 ft. Drink PLENTY of water. Also important to know alcohol hits stronger at higher altitude.

Answer

Average high this time is 68 F and low is 38 F. Be sure to bring a puffy jacket or some kind of layers for the evening.
