Maid of Honor
The bride's sister, interpretive dance partner, and best friend. Despite being the annoying little sister, her persistent love, ridiculous humor, and spunky personality are irresistible. She’s lived in several states, become a successful data analyst after a diverse work history, and an attentive kitty momma of two fur babies. We are so grateful this ten-year Brooklyn NY resident and her awesome husband, Mark, have made the move back to California!
Best Man
Youngest son of the groom, future fitness trainer, and future husband to Cora Tsamados. As a high school football player, Jimmy was one of the most inspirational and motivational boys on the team. He has persevered through many obstacles and inspires us to never give up. We're super proud that he has grown up to be such a responsible young gentlemen. He even helped us book our wedding venue so we could get the Huntington Beach resident discount! Needless to say, he deserves the spot of Best Man.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride... and of many brides... which has led to her career as a professional bridesmaid. Just kidding! She's actually a super smart lawyer with a great sense of humor, but most importantly she's a loyal confidant who’s always available for a good conversation that will leave you feeling like you’re not alone!
Groomsman
Middle son of the groom, strong-willed, hard-headed, and the most like Frank. Underneath a tough exterior Scott has one of the kindest and most gentle hearts. He'd do anything for his family. Amidst many difficulties, he's never given up and we believe God has a special purpose for Scott's life. We couldn't be more grateful he'll be standing beside us on our special day.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride, Tennessee transplant, and mother of Henry. The bride befriended her when she had just moved to California, worried she was new and alone, but quickly discovered Molly is actually a social butterfly who instantly makes friends no mater where she goes. Even with a recent move up to Seattle, her friendship has never wavered. She's sweet as pie and has the memory of an elephant!
Groomsman
Oldest son of the groom, social media sensation, and hopeless romantic. At 3-1/2 months old, Shane made it through open heart surgery with an answered prayer. He’s a talented self-taught guitar player who has explored many lines of work and is now pursuing acting and perfecting his comedic timing. Bridesmaid
Daughter of the groom, birdie momma, and star-student extraordinaire. While working her way up to manager at Chick-fil-A, she also recently completed her associates degree at junior college and is going to Cal State Fullerton to study Criminal Justice. Not only is she enjoying success in school and work, but she also brought a wonderful husband, Robert, into the family and we couldn’t be happier.
Groomsman
Cousin of the groom, animal-lover, and loyal lifetime friend. From days as young kids playing games in the streets to grown up conversions about work and family, Sammy has been more of a brother than a cousin. He takes after his late father, Sam, who Frank always loved and revered with a fun-loving and kind spirit. Though he lives out in the desert with his wife Jennifer and more dogs than we can count, he doesn't miss a daily phone call.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride, “cruise director”, and also from Tennessee. With her fun-loving gregarious personality, Jessica is always bringing people together for a good time. She’s extremely caring, ambitious, and most importantly a goofy weirdo that’ll make you comfortable to let it all out and be yourself!
Officiant
We met Pastor Jarrett Petero at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa about a year ago. We immediately loved how easy it was to talk him. He has been involved in ministry since 1993, is a husband, a father, and a great preacher.
Mother of the Bride
Ya'll know what she did... she hatched the bride and raised her up from a little pup to the woman she is today. (Yep, she hatched a puppy! You read that right. Words straight from the woman herself!) Fun loving, generous and the best non-judgmental listener (and we're not just saying that... she doesn't always just take the bride's side). Now retired, she is a pastel painter, theater goer, and moonlights as the groom’s stylist!
Mother of the Groom
Alanon black-belt, lover of holiday decor, and maker of the best fried chicken. Marie’s house and refrigerator was always open to all the kids on the block. If it wasn’t for her love, Frank might have never gotten sober and lived long enough for us to meet. Marie was taken home to be with the Lord on December 30, 2016 but still holds a special place in our hearts.
Father of the Bride
Past marathon athlete, do-it-yourselfer, and partner to expert photographer and Ojai’s socialite, Cindy Pitou Burton. He consistently maintains a chipper attitude, an uncanny level-headedness, and has a vast knowledge of many subjects. You can count on him for a walk/jog (which he will record in his exercise log book like he has done for the past 50+ years) or perhaps the occasional "rap" song about whatever happens to be right in front of him. The bride's silliness originates from both sides of the family!
Father of the Groom
Retired sales rep for Bernhardt Furniture and ex-football and baseball player. Frank Sr. passed down much more than just a name. He’s likely the root of the groom’s suave sales skills, excellent work ethic and hard-headedness! And while he was a successful salesman, he may have missed his calling as the masses refer to him as “Coach.” Now remarried to the lovely Mary Ann, who gave him two more children: the groom’s half brother, Nick, and sister, Morgan.
