Emily and Jonah love to bring their pups down to Zilker Park for fetch and a picnic. Grab some breakfast tacos and a coffee for a picnic at Zilker Park. Enjoy the beautiful green space with a great view of downtown. On April 5th, Zilker is hosting the Austin Kite Festival so you should see lots of kites being flown at the park or grab one and join the party!
This is one of the first places Emily and Jonah visited when they were moving to Austin! A beautiful garden to see native Texas wildflowers.
Take a stroll down South Congress! Stop in the shops, grab a coffee at Two Hands, or an ice cream at Amy's! Get into the Texas spirit with a cowboy hat or a pair of boots.
Starting in late March and continuing through early fall, North America's largest urban bat population calls Austin home. The bats begin to wake up and start their night flight around sunset. The best time to witness the bats is around sunset, but the nightly show can take place anywhere from 7:30 to 9:45 p.m. It can take as long as 45 minutes for all of the bats to exit the bridge for the night.
This is one of our favorite breakfast taco spots. On the weekends they usually have a market and you can grab an amazing Brown Sugar Miso Latte from Desnudo Coffee next door.
One of our favorite wine stores and wine gardens in Austin! Grab a bottle of wine from Cork and Screw and enjoy it in their amazing wine garden. They have a food truck if you get hungry!
Grab a coffee and start your morning with a beautiful view over Lady Bird Lake. Emily and Jonah have enjoyed date nights watching movies from the water at Mozarts.
For those guests with kids, we recommend the Thinkery for a chance to bring the kids to our neighborhood children's museum.
Peter Pan mini golf is a 10 minute drive from the Omni and has 2 18-hole mini golf courses for everyone to enjoy.
