Flight
Typically it is cheaper to fly into Albuquerque International Sunport than Santa Fe Regional Airport, but it is good to check both for pricing. There is a shuttle service from ABQ Sunport listed below under "Groome Transportation."
Flight
We'd typically recommend flying into Albuquerque, as it is a larger international airport with more direct & cheaper flights (usually), and just one hour to downtown Santa Fe by shuttle, however, Fly Santa Fe - Regional Airport is just 20 minutes from downtown, and can be a great option for those wishing to fly directly into town! On the rare occasion, flights into Santa Fe can be cheaper than Albuquerque, so it is always worth checking both!
Travel Note
If flying into The Albuquerque International Sunport, we'd recommend using Groome Transportation (formerly Sandia Shuttle) to book direct transport between Santa Fe and ABQ.
Train
You can take the Southwest Chief Amtrak train to Lamy, NM, which is 20 minutes from downtown Santa Fe. There is also a shuttle that provides transportation between Lamy and Santa Fe. We have taken the Amtrak many times, and found it to work quite well, if you have the time to travel!
Train
This regional train runs between Albuquerque and Santa Fe daily, with several stops in between. This train will drop you off at the Santa Fe Railyard Depot, a 15-20 minute walk from Downtown Santa Fe.
