Biltmore Estate
A popular Asheville attraction - America's Largest Home, built by George Vanderbilt! Stephen even worked here for a few months when we first moved up to NC. We've enjoyed several dates here! Make sure you buy tickets ahead of time if you plan to visit.
Waterrock Knob
One of our favorite overlooks on the parkway - we love to go up for sunset picnics! There are also several hikes around here, including one to an old airplane crash!
Jack the Dipper Ice Cream Parlor
Visit our favorite place to get ice cream! Served with homemade waffle cones, made hot when you order!
Lake Junaluska
Lake Junaluska holds a special place in our hearts. We love the walking path here and we've gone on countless walks and several picnics. There are also options for golf, rental canoes and kayaks, and much more! There are also multiple lodging options around the lake.
Haywood's Historic Farmers Market
Open 9 am - 12 pm on Saturday mornings. One of our favorite places to get local produce, baked goods, flowers, etc!
Frog Level Brewing Co
One of our favorite local breweries! We love spending weekend evenings here listening to live music and sitting by the stream!
Blue Ridge Parkway
One of our favorite parts about living in the mountains! One entrance to the BRP is located right off the highway in Waynesville, the link above will take you to that entrance. The Blue Ridge Parkway has plenty of overlooks that make it great for just driving or a picnic, along with many hiking trails if you're looking for a more active activity! Downtown Waynesville
Take some time to check out our little town! Downtown Waynesville is adorable and has tons of shops and restaurants. Our absolute favorite restaurant downtown is Boojum! Some other great options that we enjoy are Church Street Depot, Ian and JoJos Pizza, Sauced, and Birchwood Hall.
