A Mehndi Party is a celebration of the Bride, where she has mehndi (henna) applied to her hands and feet prior to the wedding ceremony. We look forward to welcoming all of our guests to commence our celebratory weekend with live Indian music, mehndi artists for our female guests, and Indian street fare. Please feel free to wear your sarees and kurtas!

Emily's Prince, Ravi, will begin his journey to the altar on a white horse a few blocks from the hotel. The Baraat is one of the most fun filled pre-ceremony traditions. All of Ravi's guests will be accompanying him with music and dancing on his travels to meet his beloved bride. Emily's family and friends will be waiting to formally welcome Ravi and his guests for the Milni (meeting of the two families). These pre-ceremony festivities build excitement and celebrate the succeeding Blissful Union of Ravi and Emily.
11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Ravi and Emily plan to wed in the traditional Sikh Ceremony, Anand Karaj, meaning "Blissful Union." The ceremony will be held immediately following the Baraat and Milni festivities. Guests will be asked to remove their shoes and cover their heads upon entering the Ceremony Ballroom, out of respect for Sikh customs and traditions.
