It all started at Whole Foods in Delray Beach, Florida when Larne checked out Edmée and her hippie pants at the meat section. A few minutes later, Edmée noticed a young man with a strong accent and long blond hair while paying at self-check out. Larne took this opportunity to ask her out for a beer. Edmée said yes and gave him her business card. The rest is history...

Edmée had a Friday off and asked Larne if he would like to go scuba diving. Larne was keen and organized for someone on the Keiki Kai to take them both out for a dive in Delray Beach. Edmée invited her sister, Audélia, and her friend to join as well. Edmée was surprised when she arrived that Larne's captain, Trevor, two of his co-workers and one of Larne's best friends, Tristan, were also joining the boat ride - a lot of people joining for a working day! Larne and Edmée started their dive. After a few minutes, Larne got on his two knees and was trying to get something out of his sleeve - Edmée was a bit confused (again). Then, Larne said "I love you" in sign language and quickly put the ring on her finger. Edmée's response was a lot of bubles under water! When Edmée came up above water, she said finally "yes!"
