The venue is a mountain ranch -- stilettos are discouraged! If you want to wear a heel, make sure you will be stable navigating the venue. You will need to walk from the ceremony lawn to the barn to the pavilion, they aren't far from each other, but it's on a mountain, so there is a small incline and it's grassy. We will both be in cowboy boots, paying homage to our home states of Texas and Colorado. Colorado cocktail is basically Western wear, elevated. Bring out your boots, bolo ties, summery dresses, nice jeans, cowboy hats --- whatever your hearts desire...just don't make it too casual :)
Check out the travel tab for hints on locations...there are a ton in Steamboat! Most importantly, it would be easiest to find something within walking distance of the Transit Center by the Sheraton/Gondola or the Downtown Wells Fargo. Shuttles will pick up and drop off from both locations. There is no parking at the venue, so figuring out the easiest way to get from these two shuttle stops would be best. Steamboat also has a transit system, so you could explore how to get to our shuttle stops off that system too.
