If I want to write a check who do I make it out to?

If you’re going to write a check, please don’t write “Brock and Elizabeth McGinnis.” Write it out to either “Brock McGinnis” or “Elizabeth Fletcher.” Some banks won’t accept joint checks and we haven’t merged our accounts as of yet. Thanks!
