Or just get lost exploring the gorgeous cobble stone streets. It is a very walkable city! Sullivan’s Island
Explore the beautiful Sullivan’s Island! Plenty of spots to grab a bite or drink: -Obstinate Daughter (our favorite) -Mex 1 Coastal Cantina -Home Team BBQ - Poe’s Tavern -The Longboard The historic Fort Moultrie is worth a visit. Or just grab a towel and chill on the beach. This is our favorite spot in Charleston and happens to be where we got engaged!
Isle of Palms
Isle of Palms is another gorgeous beach with tons of food options. Don’t miss the gorgeous boardwalk and live music at the Winder Jammer.
Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum
This is the home of the USS Yorktown. Commissioned in 1943, the aircraft carrier was crucial during World War II and proudly served America until 1970. Just about the entire ship is open to the public.
Shem Creek
Also one our favorite spots in CHS!! Grab dinner or drinks on Shem Creek: - Red’s Icehouse, Tavern & Table, Saltwater Cowboys Or if you are feeling adventurous there is kayak and paddle board rentals too.
