Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

We invite you to RSVP online here https://www.zola.com/wedding/fiona-derek/rsvp or by mailing in the RSVP card sent with the invitation.

Can I come to both the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Everyone is encouraged and welcomed to attend both the ceremony at the church and the reception at the venue.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Formal attire. We suggest that men wear a suit in any color and women wear a cocktail dress.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoor. Although, some spaces at the venue will be outside with space heaters.

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

Charleston in December can be sunny and 60 degrees or can be cloudy and 40. Please be prepared for either. Fingers crossed for 60 degrees!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Only if your invitation indicates “and guest” then you have a plus one.

There will be a bus from the church to the venue. And then after the reception 2 buses to the hotels.
