We're tying the knot!

We met at our Freshmen Orientation at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). We happened to end up in the same group when they sorted us into teams. Later that evening we bumped into one another in the elevator and hit it off, but lost touch as we started college. Years later, we reconnected and caught up on all we had missed. We decided we wanted to keep in touch more seriously after realizing how much we enjoyed each other's company. Simple texts during the day turned into long phone calls, which then turned into dates on the beach and dinner. We spent all of our free time together and every day became an adventure. We officially started dating on February 14, 2016!

After 6.5 years it finally happened... Between graduating with our Master's and moving to Pittsburgh our lives had been very hectic! Poor Bruce could never find the right time to ask, even though he had the ring for over a year... To his defense we kept pushing back a two week Italy/Greece trip due to COVID. Elizabeth had been traveling a lot for work and Bruce finally made the move one weekend she was home. Bruce took Elizabeth to West End Overlook in Pittsburgh, PA before dinner and popped the question. She eagerly said YES! We're excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you, see you in Miami!
