Uber & Lyft May Not Be Available
A new bill has passed in Minneapolis that would force Uber and Lyft to pay their drivers minimum wage. Uber and Lyft rejected this and are therefore most likely pulling out of the area. Other rideshare apps may be moving into the Twin Cities area instead. We will update this Travel section when there is further news, or if Lyft and/or Uber decide to stay.

Ceremony Parking (Lyndale Rose Garden)
Our ceremony is at Lyndale Park in the field between Turtle Fountain and Heffelfinger Fountain. Please consider the following parking information: Highlighted on the map above, you will see a paid parking lot right across from the ceremony location. There are 85 spots in this lot, though it is also open to the public. It costs $1.50 per hour to park here. You can pay at the machine, or you can pay on the "MPLS Parking" or the "Flowbird" app. For further information, visit here: https://www.minneapolisparks.org/parks-destinations/parking-information/ If you do not want to pay for parking or the lot becomes full, there are quite a few free street parking options also highlighted on the map above. They are all within a reasonable distance, but do please consider the walking time it will take to reach the ceremony location. The ceremony begins is set at 3 pm. Reception Parking (Urban Daisy)
Parking is generally not an issue at this venue, as there are parking spots on-site. That being said, this site shares their lot with other businesses in the building, so in the event where parking is limited, street parking is also available. Note: Cars may be left in the onsite lot until no later than 10 am the following morning. There will be a shuttle transporting guests from the venue to the hotel block beginning around 9 pm.

Hampton Inn Minneapolis-Roseville,MN
Thomas and I (and our parties) will be staying at the Hampton Inn in Roseville/Minneapolis. This hotel is around 7 minutes away from Urban Daisy. Please note, we will NOT be establishing a hotel block, so if you're interested in staying in the same hotel as us, we encourage you to make your reservation soon. Since it is a weekday, it probably won't book out... but you never know. :-) There are a plethora of other hotel and Airbnb options near Urban Daisy you're welcome to choose from instead, including a Home2Suites right next door to our Hampton Inn. A shuttle will operate on the night of the wedding, taking guests to any hotel within a 5 mile radius of the venue. We are planning a gift opening the following morning at our hotel.
