EvKev met working at a Christmas Tree Lot supporting their Youth and Government program. Evanne was looking for any excuse to escape the cold and offered to do a Starbucks run, which also proved to be a great excuse to talk to the cute boy she'd seen at Y&G weekly meetings. From Hot Chocolate deliverer to Prom Date, Evanne and Kevin spent much of Kevin's senior year at La Canada High School together. Geographical distance and teen angst separated the two and they had limited interactions from 2010 to 2016. Both back in LA after college, Evanne and Kevin still ran in similar circles and reconnected the Saturday before Easter 2016. Evanne was convinced their "first" date that Wednesday was Kevin just being nice, but the pair quickly realized that their years apart had allowed them to grow into two pretty compatible people. Since then, EvKev have traveled all over the United States and been to Disney more times than anyone can count. For the past three years they've lived together in West LA and cannot wait to turn the page to this next chapter in their lives.

Kevin planned to recreate their "first" date by going to The Misfit in Santa Monica and popping the question after a few rounds of skee-ball. Unfortunately, COVID restrictions and restaurant closures had other plans and Kevin went back to the drawing board. Fortunately enough, Granville had a patio nice enough to get Evanne out of the house just long enough to give her cousin, Lorrena, time to come in and set up the perfect at-home proposal spot. The scheme worked and Evanne was shocked walking in the door that night. Pretty sure it goes without saying, Evanne said YES!
