This is the closest airport to St. Simons Island. Once you land you can rent a car or schedule a shuttle to your hotel - it's an easy drive (just over an hour).

SAVANNAH/HILTON HEAD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

While it's an hour and half drive from St. Simons Islands, it's still an easy option to fly into. You'll most likely have to connect through Atlanta, but it's only a quick flight to Savannah. Also flying into Savannah gives you an excuse to stop in the city and enjoy it's southern charm.

HARTSFIELD-JACKSON ATLANTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

ATL is about a five-hour drive to SSI. This airport often has cheaper flights than directly to the Savannah or Jacksonville airports.
