Best Man
I have known Daniel for many years, dating back to our high school days. We have shared countless memorable moments, from staying up late playing Xbox and drinking too much energy drinks, to pulling silly pranks in the neighborhood. Even though we went our separate ways for college, our friendship has never wavered. Now that we live in the same area again, it feels like no time has passed at all and we are able to pick up right where we left off. I am excited to celebrate and create new memories as Daniel and Esther embark on their new chapter in life. I am honored to stand by Daniel his best man in his wedding and I look forward to being a part of this special day.
Maid of Honor
I have known Esther my whole life through church and school. Despite the long distance and busyness of grad school and adult life, we have been there for each other through every major milestone. I used to visit Esther at UC Berkeley, and that’s how I met Daniel. When I asked Esther’s friends and family to send a video for her 21st birthday, Daniel submitted such a sweet video. Even though they were just friends at that time, I could see how much they cared for each other. Fast forward a few years, and I am so happy to celebrate this amazing day with them.
Groomsman
It was a brisk fall evening when Daniel walked through the front door and into my life. I was there for a small group gathering and before me stood (the man of my dreams) a sharply dressed man apologizing for being late. As it turned out, and to my dismay, the woman beside him was his girlfriend (and now fiancée / cult leader / future wife). Truly an inauspicious beginning to a relationship that would change the course of my life (and if the butterfly effect is to be believed, the course of human history) forever. Daniel and I became close over our love for Manchester United, Wayne Rooney, and DC United but it was our shared journey in seeking Christ and experiencing life’s ups and downs together that bonded us as brothers. I am honored and excited to have been a part of Daniel and Esther’s life these last few years, and I am eagerly waiting to see what God has in store for their (and our) future!

Esther and I met as two college girls trying to become doctors. Though our dreams in medicine did not endure, our friendship did. We bonded over being only children and our love for hip-hop/RnB. We lived together, served at church together, went to concerts together, and I found a sister I never had in Esther. We gave ourselves the nickname “partners in crime” and tackled the best, worst, and everything-in-between moments of our lives with each other. Daniel was a significant part of these moments, as he was also a friend we made in our first year at Berkeley. Esther and Daniel eventually went off on their own to become best friends, but I like to credit myself as being the one to help her realize she loved him 😉 I’m grateful to have witnessed their relationship from it’s conception, and honored to now be a part of their special day. Esther will always be my partner in crime, but I’m beyond thrilled that she found her partner for life.

I met Daniel shortly after he moved to DC and we quickly bonded over our mutual love of sports and sad Korean ballads. Over the years I have come to learn that although he is a fan of Manchester United, he is not a bad person and neither is Esther. Daniel and Esther make a great team and I am blessed to call them among my closest friends. I am excited that the day is finally here and to celebrate them.

Esther and I met in college through Joyce, and we all lived together for 3 years - happily in our small, Berkeley apartment. I didn’t know her well at first but she eventually became one of my best friends. She grounded me when I had my wild moments and encouraged me through some of the hardest times of my life. She is one of the most emotionally intelligent people I know (definitely the mom of the group), and I cherish all the deep conversations we’ve had, thanks to her curiosity in her friends. I’m grateful for the friendship we have, where we cheer each other on in our best moments and pick each other up in our worst. I’m so happy that Esther found the love of her life in her friendship with Daniel, and I’m beyond thrilled to be part of their big day. Although Esther is going to start her new married chapter with Daniel, I’ll always make sure to keep her young.

I first met Daniel at community group in church. He and Esther had just moved cross-country from California, and I knew I'd like them right away, especially after I saw Daniel look fine and elegant through his bowling. Daniel has been such an important part of my community and growth in Virginia, and I'm excited to be part of his and Esther's special day!

I met Esther in 2019 and we bonded over our desire to have sisterhood rooted deeply in Christ…and our excitement to juice celery for that healthy skin and gut life. Our friendship grew quickly but also so naturally. When I describe my friendship with Esther to others I tear up because I am overwhelmed by how blessed I am to have a friend who cares so deeply for others and the world. The past two years of living together have been filled with so many cherished memories and I’m thankful for that time together before sending Esther off to live with her forever best friend! Hands down the best part of living with Esther was getting to enjoy Daniel’s amazing cooking. JK!! (But his cooking is pretty fire). I can’t wait to continue doing life with these two and celebrate many more milestones!

I first met Daniel and Esther when we all lived together at River Place Apartments in Arlington. We got to know each other through the long drive to church each week. In Daniel on the soccer field I found the strike partner I wish I always had, and in Esther a fellow bibliophile who always let me borrow her books.

For those who don’t know me! This is Eunice AKA Eunicorn and Hana AKA Esther is my cousin. I always take for granted that not everyone gets to grow up with their cousin and do life with them. Like seriously, we hung out every Sunday, made fun of our dads together (sorry uncle and appa), and just grew up like sisters. My life would not be with the same without Hana and I am grateful to the Lord for her encouraging, caring, and loving nature. I am honored to be by her side on her and Daniel’s special day! May you both have a marriage filled with lots of love, laughter, and always centered in Christ! BLESS UP YALL 🔥 LFG✌🏻❤️
