Amtrak - Piedmont Line

For those with an adventurous spirit, the Salisbury Depot’s concourse still serves as an active Amtrak stop! We’ve ridden The Piedmont service line from Raleigh to Charlotte and The Carolinian from Salisbury to DC and back home from NYC. Make a weekend of it and learn what it’s like to live on train time. Cheerwine Festival

We will be sharing our big day with the annual Cheerwine Festival in downtown Salisbury. We anticipate that traffic patterns and parking around the Depot will be challenging. We strongly encourage carpooling with loved ones. Check out the linked festival map for info on road closures and nearby public parking lots. Note that there is a lot of free street parking in the area too.
