What’s the dress code?

Answer

Dressy Casual Attire (aka Rowan County Fancy): No denim, sneakers, or golf polos. Consider a tie, light/bright colors and patterns, or a trendy jumpsuit, but you don't need to wear an evening gown. This is a special day for us so we want everyone to clean up nice, but we prefer that you feel comfortable while you celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we prefer if it was just you.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Children of first cousins to the bride and groom are invited. Otherwise, we appreciate your understanding as we make room for the adults important in our lives. We hope you’ll find a sitter and enjoy your night off!

Answer

Downtown Salisbury is throwing a street festival in honor of our big day! We hope you’ll take advantage of the fun if you’re in town early. Due to road closures, we recommend that everyone travel from China Grove to the reception via I-85 & E Innes St.

Where should we park?

Answer

A small side parking lot and ample street parking is available at the church in China Grove. Downtown Salisbury will be more of an adventure. In addition to street parking all around the Depot area, see the parking map under the Travel tab for nearby public lots. We strongly encourage carpooling where able and dropping off party members at the front door before finding a spot. Please take your time as you navigate street closures and higher pedestrian traffic—we want everyone to arrive happy and safe!
