Grand Rapids is known as Beer City, USA. Located near Eastown, Brewery Vivant is one of our favorite breweries in the city. Delicious food and drinks!
If you have never visited Grand Rapids, Founders is a classic. Right near downtown, Founders is an internationally-recognized brewery that also serves delicious meals.
Located in the adorable Wealthy Street neighborhood, Donkey is our favorite spot for tacos & margaritas in Grand Rapids, hands down! We LOVE walking around this neighborhood and visiting the other restaurants and shops, as well.
West of the river is another fun neighborhood on Bridge Street. We love Butcher's Union, O'Toole's Public House, and New Holland Brewing. New Holland Brewing was founded in Holland, Michigan, and is another fantastic brewery.

The Bitter End was Makayla's favorite place to study while attending GVSU in Grand Rapids. This craft coffee roaster is open 24/7 and has everything an eccentric coffee connoisseur could ever need.
Madcap Coffee is another Grand Rapids classic, founded in GR in 2008. They have a downtown location on Monroe Center, as well, that is within walking distance to everything downtown.
Lyon Street is home to Lyon Street Cafe, Nantucket Baking Company, Martha's Pizza, and Martha's Vineyard. Highly recommend visiting this little corner of GR for (literally) all your needs! (Psst, Martha's is catering our wedding! Shout out to Martha's!)
Global Infusion is the coolest tea/herb/spice shop in Grand Rapids. They also carry a variety of fair-trade and unique, hand-crafted goods.
The Grand Rapids Public Museum is located along the Grand River, overlooking downtown. If you enjoy art, history, and sightseeing, this is a wonderful weekend excursion!
Located directly downtown, the GRAM is home to beautiful art and rotating exhibits. It is within walking distance of many downtown restaurants, shops, and the riverwalk.
The Gerald R. Ford Museum is the presidential museum and burial place of Gerald Ford, the 38th president of the United States. This is a one-of-a-kind museum!

An absolutely beautiful and scenic garden and sculpture park. Lovely for a daytime stroll, especially during the summer!

This is such a cool gem close to East Grand Rapids. We highly recommend exploring this bookstore and walking around the streets of Eastown to see the wide variety of shops, unique restaurants, bakeries, breakfast joints, and juiceries.
