How did you know we were dreaming of those crystal champagne flutes?! They’re by far the most beautiful glasses in our home and we’ve never felt fancier. You’ll have to come over soon so we can toast to you! So excited to see you in June.

Erik & Makayla

Erik and Makayla met in November 2019. Together they have weathered military deployments (both state-side and international), lockdowns, medical school, long-distance and lots of traveling, the Michigan State Trooper training academy, and more. They have welcomed career changes, several moves, growing families, and new family pets, have happily celebrated the marriages and graduations of many loved ones, and have supported one another through their own failures and successes. 

Erik proposed at the Mission Point Lighthouse, in Traverse City, Michigan, on December 16th, 2022. Our beautiful engagement photos were taken in August 2023 along the same peninsula. This location holds a very special place in our hearts.
