Arrive in Cartagena- Destination Wedding Weekend

We have a whole weekend of fun events planned! We leave it to you to come to the events you choose but we do want to get an accurate count on who will be joining us for the wedding and how many rooms we need at Dreams. Let us know if you are coming to Cartagena and answer the questions in the RSVP so we know where you are staying and how long you will be with us.
Welcome Cocktail Party

To welcome our guests, we will have drinks in the lobby bar at the resort. The official cocktail party is at 7pm right outside however, due to guest limits, we are going to start the party early and do our own thing. Anyone still around from 7-8pm is welcome to join us at the fire pit. This is just a casual gathering of friends and family so you are absolutely welcome to do your own thing!

Rehearsal Dinner: Sunset on the Rooftop in Cartagena

Wear bright sundresses, floral prints, short sleeve polos or button downs in bright hues to match the vibrant city we will be exploring!
We are planning to venture together into the walled old town of Cartagena for the rehearsal dinner on a rooftop. Enjoy the sunset over the beautiful buildings of the city with some drinks and dinner! Refreshments will include hors d'oeuvres and drinks. We recommend you eat dinner before the events as food will be light.

Wedding Ceremony

Beach Attire: Wear Khaki or linen pants, short-sleeved button downs, white linen dresses, light color sun dresses, and sandals.
Transportation to the ceremony will be via private vans at the front of the hotel beginning at 4:45. We ask all guests to be at the beach by 5:15. Ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm.
Cocktail Hour and Reception
6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
The cocktail hour will include hors d'oeuvres and open bar of beer and wine. The reception will included a four course meal, dancing and drinks. Please make sure to select your meal preference as we need to provide a count in advance.

Private Catamaran Day Trip: Isla Rosario, Cholon and Playa Blanca

Bathing Suits and Beach Attire!
Recover from the wedding in style. We are arranging a private catamaran cruise to our favorite white sand and crystal clear blue water beaches and islands around Cartagena. This will be a full day trip with sailing, snorkeling and beach relaxing. Please bring a towel, water, sunscreen, and some cash with you for the day. We will have drinks and snacks on the boat and there will be lunch for purchase on the islands. Please arrange to leave the resort by 9:15/9:20 to arrive at the pier by 9:40am. The boat leaves at 10am so we want to make sure everyone is ready to go!
