FAQs

Question

Did you change your wedding date?

Answer

Due to COVID-19, we decided to postpone the big celebration to October 8, 2021. However, we still got married on our original date of October 9, 2020 with a small group of people.

Question

If you'll technically already be married, what exactly will be happening on October 8, 2021?

Answer

Our "big celebration" in 2021 will look exactly like the event we had planned originally. We were lucky enough to be able to move all of our vendors (caterers, photographer, DJ, etc.) to next year's date. So it will look just like any other wedding you've been to in terms of having a ceremony and reception. At that point, we will be celebrating one year of marriage and renewing our vows.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

We are really hoping for beautiful weather! However if it does rain, we will have the ceremony inside the barn and our guests would sit at their dinner tables. It is a bit of a walk from the parking area, so you'll probably want to bring an umbrella.

Question

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

The owner of the venue provides a golf cart to transport guests if it is too far to walk. However, this does require you to arrive a little early because they will not run the golf cart once the ceremony begins. Restrooms are handicap accessible.

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

We hope you love breakfast as much as we do! We'll be having a variety of breakfast foods for dinner.

Question

Is Uber or Lyft available near the the venue?

Answer

We've been told that Uber and Lyft are not reliable near the venue, so it's probably best to have a designated driver just in case. If you do carpool home, your car may stay parked at the venue until 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning.
