Ellie is Emma’s little sister and youngest member of the Kowes Family. Ellie and Emma have always been best friends while trying to survive their two brothers. As they’ve gotten older and began to have similar interests, their friendship and sisterhood have been inseparable. (Ellie is also the funniest member of the Kowes fam)

Jonah Zahnd

Best Man

Jonah is Josh's older brother who never ceases to amaze. He works harder than anyone Josh knows and somehow had like 6 degrees and got married before being basically 18 years old (not totally factual). Jonah and Josh enjoy going to the gym, pigging out at Mexican restaurants, and pushing each other to honor the gifts God has given them. Josh admires how Jonah thinks every burrito is the best food he's ever had, and for his gentle spirit while being able to truck anything in his path. Josh will always look up to Jonah, even though he's been taller than him since he was 14.

Jacob Kowes

Jake is Emma's not-so-little brother. Growing up they have always been very close. They’re less than 2 years apart and got to grow up with the same friends. Emma has sat at COUNTLESS baseball games for Jake and wouldn’t trade it for the world. Jake has been the best brother to Emma and Ellie (except for when he broke a glass door on Emma’s head).

Noah Zahnd

Best Man

Noah is Josh's oldest brother and has kept Josh in line ever since he was born. Whether it was pushing Josh to eat another plate of food, absolutely bodying him on the basketball court, or bonding over shared asthma experiences, Noah has always challenged Josh to be his best. Josh has always looked up to Noah not only because he is a massive person, but also because of the godly man Noah is and the way he has lived his life.

Junior Kowes

Junior is the oldest brother of Emma. Growing up they had lots of fun on vacations and had the fun of surviving high school together. They have many memories from all their high school events. He is a sweet brother to Emma and we’re so happy he will be standing with us at the altar.

Luke Peters

Luke was Josh's college roommate for 3 years and Josh's best friend since they met at CBU at their favorite place on earth, the CBU cafeteria. Luke is one of the funniest people Josh knows and never fails to make something more fun that it should be. He's helped Josh stress less, eat more, and grow as a man of God.

Belle Cuneo

Emma and Belle grew up as best friends and cousins! They got to spend countless amounts of time together from a young age and they’ve loved every minute of it (except for the countless little girl fights we had with each other haha). They’ve experienced many vacations, sleepovers, Belle's wedding, and now Emma’s wedding! They feel more like sisters than cousins!

Phil Cuneo

Phil was Josh's college roommate and best friend since their sophomore year at CBU. Phil has been the best kind of friend to go through life's biggest challenges and successes with, and has made Josh a much better man than before they met. They've gone on many adventures in Utah, Belize, Yosemite, and countless others, and now get to be in the same family.

Kate Myers

Kate has grown up like an older sister to Emma. Similar to Belle, they’ve grown up going on many vacations, parties, hangouts, Kate babysitting us, her wedding and now Emma’s wedding! Emma is lucky to have such a great mentor, cousin, and sister figure to look up to!

Preston Fu

Preston has been one of Josh's best friends since they met in 8th grade. From AP classes, going to the gym, Bible studies, basketball seasons, to annual camping trips, Preston and Josh have spent countless hours together. Preston is one the calmest and most disciplined people Josh knows, always acting way more maturely than his age. He is truly a man after God's own heart and has been a good friend to Josh as they grew into men.

Isabella Alexander

Isabella and Emma met at their first day of college! She was Emma’s first friend and their friendship grew very quickly! Isabella is always up for an adventure (even if it meant skipping class to go to the beach, but hey we graduated!) they had the fun of living in SoCal together, countless beach and Disney trips, coffee trips, roads trips, etc. They also started dating around the same time, got engaged around the same time, and are also getting married around the same time! Friendship goals.

Josh T. and Josh Z. were Civil Engineering students at CBU together and then lived as roommates in San Diego for a year. In San Diego, they grew closer through working together, serving at their church's middle school ministry together, and attending up to 5 church events per week together. Josh T. has led a great example of what it looks like to walk with God for Josh Z. and is one of the kindest people around. If you ever need someone to go with you to Dave's Hot Chicken, Josh T. will be there.

Taylor Postma

Emma and Taylor met in 7th grade. They can’t think of a specific moment they became best friends, it was something that just happened instantly! They had the fun of growing up together. In high school, they played sports together and Emma drove Taylor to everything before Taylor had her license. They had sleepovers almost every week during soccer season. Taylor is always up for a good time and she makes life so fun! She has a way to cheer anyone up!

Ryan Sollazzo

Ryan and Josh met in 7th grade and became close friends in high school. Ryan is one of the most passionate people for Christ that Josh knows, and has worn his faith for all to see since Josh has known him. He is often the voice of truth, reason, and encouragement in their high school friend group and somehow plays basketball like Steph Curry.

Kenzie is another one of Emma’s cousins that she got to grow up with! Kenzie and Emma never got the chance to live close by each other, but that never stopped them from seeing each other! They have gone on so many spontaneous adventures together (especially when they got to college!). Kenzie and Emma have been blessed to be best friends and cousins!

Megan Zahnd

Megan is Josh's sister-in-law and was basically the first female Josh ever spoke to after his mom. Josh calls her "Miss Information" for her extensive knowledge of many subjects and her ability to make any conversation interesting (he did not think that one through). Josh has always admired her strong devotion to the things she cares most about and her kind heart for everyone around her.

Lacey and Emma are first cousins and very close in age which made it so fun as kids! Emma and Lacey have lots of similar interests which caused them to be close growing up! When Emma and Lacey got a little older, they would call and check in on each other as we both started college on opposite ends of the country! Emma is blessed to have her in her life!

Olivia is Josh's sister-in-law and brings the fun wherever she goes. She is one of the most patient and caring people Josh knows and has been steadfast when Noah eats their entire meal prep for the week in one day.

Lainey is another one of Emma’s cousins! Fun fact, she's Lacey’s twin! This made it fun for the three girls to hangout together and play! As little kids, they always pretended to be triplets! Lainey is such a sweet and thoughtful cousin and Emma is blessed to call her family!

The ring bearers (Emma’s little cousins)! Emma considers James and Jackson to be her favorite little boys! She got to spend so much time watching them grow up while she was in college and she loves them so much!
